MediaTree
media monitoring and broadcast monitoring

Media Monitoring

LanDECKTM records all sources ‘on the fly'. This enables the operator to manage his tasks more rationally. Moreover, anytime, the operator can check a source in real time, from a workstation, even during the recording process.
The workstation includes a number of special tools with which you will be able to select audio, video and metadata. These tools will help you create play lists, export selections for commercial publishing tools, create DVDs and export in Multi format (WM9, RM, FLV, XML...).

Each operator workstation can be dedicated to one task and all operators can simultaneously contribute to the existing services. MediaTree provides a comprehensive development kit (SDK) and associated APIs, so that each company can develop its own user interfaces for its services.

Broadcast

The solution allows for encoding of programmes to be exchanged, indexing, enhancement with associated data, archiving and creation of catalogues that the broadcaster can consult.
Digitising takes place in two formats (and more): a broadcast format (50 Mbit/s MPEG-2 Full Profile) and a viewing format (MPEG4 @ 1Mbits) . The system also captures Time Code from the original reel, while browsing and selection in MPEG-4 format creates an EDL that may be used to conform material for delivery from a source reel, stored on a shelf.
With its Media Content Management solution, Mediatree has enabled operators to consult catalogues of each region's collections via a standard network. The operator selects documents in MPEG-4 quality and these are "delivered" by conventional means (conforming and dispatch by post) in broadcast quality.

Conference Room

Using the existing network infrastructure, MediaTree has made it possible to relay conference sessions in real time to computer workstations connected to the organization's local network (intranet). From these workstations, anyone outside the conference hall can watch and listen to the speakers, a process similar to closed circuit television (multicast over IP).

The solution incorporates technologies that convert voice into text, without training, in several languages including English, French or Arabic. The aim is to facilitate the operator's task thanks to a relevant preparation of the content, to improve searches using a text search engine, and to provide a video quality that allows fast, flexible and frame-accurate browsing, using the organization's networks and portals.
Transcript operators can select the language from workstations connected to the network and carry out the final corrections and layout of the automatic textual transcription.

Our database enables the operators to produce thematic catalogs. These can be consulted via a local LAN access or via an Internet WAN, using the organization's website. Content, video and audio supports and metadata can be published to browse extracts, or can be sold and distributed over various media.
