Apex n.v. started in 1991 with two activities :
- Development, production and export of our own Apex-brand.
- Local distribution of pro audio equipment in Belgium and Luxemburg for PA, Studio and Broadcast.
Since 1999, Apex has started with the delivery of turnkey-systems and integration for the broadcast- and studiomarket.

End of 2004, we started with distribution in the Netherlands for the broadcastmarket.
Early 2005, our AV/Commercial department has started with distribution in Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands.
On the 1st of December 2005 Apex starts an office in Paris for the distribution of some exclusive brands for the French market. In France we are active in Broadcast, Sound Reinforcement and Studio.
The development, manufacturing and export of our own Apex-products is still an important and growing part of our business. Our recent developments include the Intelli-Q (digital realtime system optimizer), Intelli-X (digital 4-in/8-out speaker management system) and the DBQ-Zero (analog Dual 30-band graphic equaliser with notch-filters).
These new products broadens our well-known range of graphic equalisers and soundcontrollers.
Apex products are known for their quality and reliability. This is not by accident :
- In the design stage, the choice of components and their placing on the circuit board is crucial. If needed for audio quality / CE regulations; we will use multilayer boards. Our products are designed easy accessible, with manufacturing and service in mind.
- Tests are performed during the manufacturing stage and after the burn-in period of minimum two days. For this purpose, Apex has invested in Audio Precision automated measuring equipment.This approach pays off. Our fall-out rate has been under 2%, which is good news for our customers.
In both manufacturing as well as distribution and integration, our main-focus is to deliver the best possible quality with an extensive after-sales support.
