Digico SD8 eclipses any competition in NTGent
NTG has chosen a Digico SD8 for their theater hall. Bart Meeusen, sound engineer of NTGent, tells us why they prefer the Digico SD8."The choice of the console was simple when we heard we could afford a full package - surface, MADIrack and digital snake - with strong features and for a reasonable price. Back in the days Digico was out of reach in order of our budget. Now, with the new SD8, Digico has made a console without any competition in his class" says Bart Meeusen.
The number of busses is very important for a theatre console, therefore the SD8 is a perfect match with his 32 output busses. "We now can mix big theater shows without having issues concerning outputs" says Bart Meeusen.
"With the easy Digico workflow, everybody can get music trough the console without programming a difficult routing grid. You can tell that the console is made for users and by users."
"Sometimes we are on a tour and therefore the weight and the small dimensions of the console are a big advantage. With the MADIrack and the digital snake the set up is ready in no time" explains Bart Meeusen.
