Alain Courieux is convinced of the D-series
Alain Courieux, who has more than 30 years experience in live sound engineering, studio recording, sound design, audio consultant and now the sound engineer of Jean-Michel Jarre, chooses for a DiGiCo D5 in the front of house for the European Oxygene tour. For the in-ear system and the monitoring a CS-D5 was used.
Monday the 24th of mars, Cirque Royale in Brussels was sold-out for the intimate gig of Jean-Michel Jarre. The timeless warmth and the texture of the very special sounds made from the old analogue instruments went without any problem through 88 input-channels into the DiGiCo D5. With a lot of internal effects contained in it, the effects rack consisted of just a Lexicon 480L reverb and an SSL stereo compressor.
The next performance is in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
