EMMIS Chooses Apex for studio-project
At the main-site in Ternat EMMIS the Apex will be constructing 3 new studio's and a CTA based around a DHD RM4200D network-structure connected on fiber-optic. The DHD-console is fully configurable and offers optimal reliability combined with huge flexibility for the users. The networked structure offers centralised access to the MAYAH Centauri codecs and to the TELOS ONE-X-SIX Multi-line telephone system.
As automation-system Zenon has been choosen on a DELL-platform for the main-site in Ternat as well as for all 9 local stations. The Zenon system will handle centralised scheduling (RCS Selector) and centralised publicity planning for all 9 individual local stations, as well as for the main-studio's. Publicity planning will be done on UKI-Media.
Acoustics are offered by Apex in close coöperation with FAR.
All 9 local stations will be equiped with a new broadcast setup including a Zenon-playout system for local and main programs and publicity.
The full engineering and realisation of this project, including the studiofurniture, is done with our in-house technical team. Tom Vanmierlo is Project Engineer for the project.
