Jan Leyers and EML Productions on tour with Apex Intelli-Q
Jan Leyers (ex Soulsister) is touring in Belgian theatres till the end of february to promote his new CD “Crash & Burn”. For Front of House mixer Peter Claes, this tour is the first time he operates the Intelli-Q. “ Actually the unit is very straightforward to use, he reports.” I hooked it up to my laptop and immediately the signal flow was clear to me. There are a few things I like about the unit. First of all, it sounds extremely well. Specially in the highend, I hear a lot more definition than with other eq's. Also the constant overview of all functionalities, together with the real-time analyser have impressed me a lot. Actually, already after a few shows I have become addicted to the unit, I am afraid…
