De AAC codering is deel van de MPEG4 standaard en biedt zeer hoge kwaliteit gekoppeld aan lage bitrates- van 14 kbps tot 320 kbps. De AAC coding pack van MDO-Uk is beschikbaar als (optionele) add-on voor de STL-IP, STL-IP 8/16 en de STL-IP connect software en biedt een grote variëteit aan algoritmes (MPEG4 AAC, AAC-LD (Low Delay), HE-AAC (AACPlus) en HE-AAC v2 (parametrische stereo codering). DE AAC packs kunnen direct worden besteld bij de STL-IP codec of na worden geleverd voor bestaand units.
