2021 had its challenges, but thanks to the hard work of our amazing team and the enthusiasm of our loyal partners and customers, it wasa year of double-digit growth and innovation for APEX.
Here are just some of our highlights of 2021.
- The vision becomes a reality!
After many months of concepts, design, development and testing, it was thrilling to see our CloudPower amplifiers rolling off the assembly line and being installed in venues around the world. The feedback from the market has been incredible.
- Forging new partnerships
First class products deserve first class service and support. Despite the challenges of travelling in 2021, we developed new partnerships with outstanding distributors such as XLR in the Benelux region, Ligra in Italy, FBT Audio (UK) in the United Kingdom, Showsupply in Switzerland, StageLab in Norway, Tommex in Poland and Orpheus Acoustics in Taiwan. Welcome to the APEX family!
- The show must go on!
2021 was a tough year for tradeshows, with many being cancelled or going ahead with tumbleweeds rolling down the aisles. PLASA London in September was a notable exception and FBT Audio (UK) took full advantage of the opportunity to meet integrators face-to-face and showcase the benefits of CloudPower. We hope we have many more chances to meet customers in person during 2022!
- Fame at Last
Back in January, Mondo*DR magazine interviewed APEX managing director, Paul Van Hees. The article is still available here if you missed it first time around: https://issuu.com/mondiale/docs/md31-2_digital_issuu/113
- And the winner is…
We were delighted to scoop a Best in Market Award from Installation magazine for CloudPower. Our commercial director, Hans Breugelmans was also named as one of InAVate magazine’s ‘40 Under 40’ AV professionals shaping and leading the industry in 2021. This recognition was partly thanks to the fantastic work that Hans has done to develop exciting niche markets for our Liviau all-in-one touchscreen controllers.
So with 2021 wrapped up, what does 2022 have in store for APEX? We will continue to build our capacity to meet the growing demand for APEX products and support, and of course we have some exciting new developments coming through the R&D pipeline. Stay tuned!
