APEX Names TOMMEX As Exclusive Distributor For Poland

Belgium-based professional AV manufacturer, APEX has announced the appointment of TOMMEX as its exclusive distribution partner for Poland.

“TOMMEX’s impressive technical and support expertise, together with their extensive experience with high-profile installation projects, made them our first choice to develop the APEX brand in Poland,” comments APEX managing director, Paul Van Hees. “We look forward to working with the TOMMEX team to introduce the benefits of our new CloudPower amplifiers and the rest of the range to their clients.”

The distribution agreement was facilitated by Alain Boone of Audires, APEX’s EMEA sales agent.


CloudPower Makes PLASA Debut

APEX’s exclusive UK distributor, FBT Audio (UK), will be introducing customers to the CloudPower installation amplifiers at the PLASA show in London from Sept 5th – 7th, 2021. This is the first opportunity for integrators and consultants to check out CloudPower at a UK tradeshow. FBT Audio (UK) can be found at booth #F1.

APEX Secures Investment for Growth

Giva Audiovisual Technologies BV has agreed an investment package with prominent Belgian investor, LRM, to catalyse the continued expansion of the APEX pro AV brand.

The injection of additional capital will allow Giva Audiovisual Technologies to scale up manufacturing operations to meet demand for APEX’s award-winning CloudPower installation amplifiers.

“This new backing from LRM is an important part of our ambitious growth strategy,” comments APEX managing director, Paul Van Hees. “CloudPower has been a tremendous success for us and this investment helps us to keep up with the order book without compromising our agility and commitment to outstanding quality and support. In parallel, we are actively strengthening our distribution networks to increase access to the range and to pave the way for the product innovations coming through the R&D pipeline.”

LRM is an investment company that develops and stimulates economic growth in the Limburg region of Belgium, where APEX and Giva Audiovisual Technologies are based.

APEX Hires Graeme Stevenson as Production Manager

Graeme Stevenson has been appointed as Production Manager for Belgium-based pro AV manufacturer, APEX.

“We’re excited to bring Graeme onboard to strengthen our manufacturing operations,” says APEX Managing Director, Paul Van Hees. “We are seeing strong growth in demand, particularly for our CloudPower installation amplifiers and Liviau touchscreen AV controllers. Graeme’s experience and drive will ensure that we can scale to meet this demand while maintaining the reliability and flexibility that our customers expect from APEX.”

Originally from the United Kingdom, Stevenson is no stranger to pro audio, having spent nine years as an audio technician with fellow Belgian pro audio brand, Audac.

“I am delighted to join the team at this key stage in the brand’s development,” comments Graeme Stevenson. “APEX is an ambitious company with exciting plans for the future. I am looking forward to helping APEX grow its capacity and maintain its reputation for innovative designs, excellent quality and friendly service.”

All APEX products are assembled and tested at its facilities in Beringen, Belgium. The manufacturing centre is located a short distance from APEX’s main R&D and management hub, allowing seamless collaboration across teams.

APEX has appointed FBT Audio (UK) Ltd as the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for its CloudPower series of installation amplifiers.

FBT Audio (UK) Managing Director, Mark Parkhouse commented, “From features like onboard streaming from AirPlay and Spotify to the gorgeous industrial design and OLED display, CloudPower amplifiers are essential for everyone who values power, control and reliability. We’re honoured to represent them in the UK and Ireland.”

APEX Appoints XLR for Benelux Distribution

XLR has been named as the exclusive distributor of APEX products for the Benelux region (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg). The move follows the recent launch of APEX’s CloudPower series of four channel Class-D installation amplifiers.

XLR is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, less than 100km from APEX’s own R&D and manufacturing hubs in Beringen. The distribution agreement was facilitated by Alain Boone of Audires, APEX’s EMEA sales agent.

XLR’s general manager, Louis Lukusa commented, “APEX is an excellent fit with the portfolio of leading brands that we represent. The new CloudPower range has sparked particular interest among our clients and we already see a number of opportunities to specify it for high-profile projects.”

APEX has appointed Audires BV as its sales agent for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The two Belgium-based companies have partnered to ensure world class support for APEX’s newly launched CloudPower series of installation amplifiers.

Record breaking audio at AG Van Damme 2020 athletics meet

No fewer than 4 world records were smashed at the 44th AG Memorial Vandamme athletics meeting in Belgium. The 2020 event was held behind closed doors, but that didn’t deter the competitors. Crowd noise and cheers from 2019 were used to build the atmosphere in the King Baudouin Stadium, played through three APEX Intelli-Power 10 amplifiers, supplied by C&D. With a little help from technology the athletes delivered a successful and memorable spectacle.
